One last hurrah

We stretched out our visit as long as we could before heading back home. D went off to collect the dog from his version of a vacation at a local kennel we have come to know as "the farm" and Miss A and I headed back to Grammy and Grandpap's to sneak in a little more quality time together.

Miss A spent got to hang out with the bunny.


And she also squeezed in a little heart-to-heart time with Grammy on the pretty rocking chair in the living room.




And while we all waited out the last few minutes for dinner to be ready and D to get back from getting the dog, Grammy, Grandpap, and I tried to stage a little portrait session on the pretty rocking chair since it complemented so nicely with the Steelers romper that Miss A was wearing.






D arrived shortly after the picture taking and we got quickly down to dinner where Miss A enjoyed her first ear of corn all of her own!



It was a great way to finish off a wonderful weekend and we are so thankful for our family (and especially all of the moms!) to give us an excuse to have a surprise get together the way we did.
